The areas affected by Hurricane Sandy have been able to join hands and recover mostly, but unfortunately some of the areas which were hit hardest by Sandy have a long ways to go before they are back to 100%. As part of the effort to assist those hurt by the hurricane, Kanye West will lead up a “12-12-12” concert, along with some several other huge names in music.
The concert will take place on December 12th at the world famous Madison Square Garden in New York. As reported by MTV, proceeds will go to the Robin Hood Relief Fund that works along with local organizations serving those in the Tri-State area that were devastated by Sandy.
Some of the other notable names on hand will be rock icons Jon Bon Jovi, Billy Joel and Roger Waters, as well as R&B legend Alicia Keys. The event is organized by the same group behind the historic 9/11 benefit concert “The Concert For New York City”.
Recently, when asked about Andre 3000‘s absence from his new album, Big Boi made a statement about how he missed it to be in a commercial for Gillette. Some took this statement to mean that there’s beef between the two Outkast members but now Big Boi is denying those claims on Twitter, saying he was simply being “sarcastic.” In his message about the issue, Big Boi also promised that no more Outkast questions will be answered.

Big Boi:
“He could’ve been on any song he wanted to. I gave the motherfucker about five songs, but I guess he was just too busy,” “He said he had to do some Gillette shit. No for real. He said he had some contractual obligations.”
On a brighter not Big Boi‘s next album, Vicious Lies & Dangerous Rumors, is scheduled for a release on December 11, features include Ludacris, T.I. and A$AP Rocky.
Complex magazine has once again featured A$AP Rocky on its cover, this time for its December 2012/January 2013 issue.
In the interview with complex, Rocky discusses his influence on Kanye West’s fashion and what listeners can expect from his upcoming debut LongLiveA$AP.
But he also discusses his situation with SpaceGhostPurrp and addresses how his “life revolves around hating on me.”
A$AP Rocky:
“I had a lot of close friends stab me in the back for their own greedy desires. I never saw that coming. I never thought my real niggas would be on some fuck shit with me, and do wack shit. I’m a good nigga, and a lot of people fuck with me and then leave with these accusations trying to fuck up what I worked hard for,” he said. “For example, the whole thing with SpaceGhostPurrp. I didn’t say anything. He’s putting his foot in his mouth. People are starting to see he’s a racist and crazy and bipolar. I look on the Internet and every time we put something out he gets his Raider Klan people to be like, ‘You’re biting,’ and it’s like, ‘You’re just mad I’m bigger than you.’ His life revolves around hating on me, and this is a guy who used to live in my house. My mom took care of him. Before I had a record deal we were sharing dinner plates and shit.”
A$AP Rocky also said:
“It happened. It’s like it was meant to happen. It is what it is. When the heat came down, he was the only scared one. He was going to have to serve three days in jail like everybody else. Long story short, Purrp went down South, started talking shit about niggas. It was a cowardly move.”
Joe Budden is ready to make a big splash this winter. If a brand new mixtape from your favorite lyricist wasn’t enough, Budden is gearing up to drop his new ALBUM on you at the beginning of 2013. What better way to promote all this then on both a fresh new tour and on the new season of VH1′s ‘Love & Hip Hop’.
The album, No Love Lost, is set to release on January 22nd.
