In a interview with Hot 97,Kid Cudi discusses what road he plans to take, why he left G.O.O.D. Music and what he plans to do after leaving. Cudi also says when he first met Kanye West, and he knew he would one day need his own lane. He also plans to focus solely on the one artist he’s signed to his record label, (Wicked Awesome) King Chip. Cudi explains how his focus is just on Chip, as a whole roster of people to take care of can cause quite a few headaches, which he doesn’t want to deal with right now.

G.O.O.D. Music’s Kid Cudi just recently left the group to venture on his own path, However former labelmate Big Sean had dropped his newest single “Switch Up” featuring Commom. Shortly after Kudi had left the track was releases and had sparked people to believe that it was a diss.

While talking to MTV News, Sean said of the timing of the two events,

“it was just ironic that he announced he’s leaving G.O.O.D. Music the same time we put the song ‘Switch Up’ out.”

Sean continued.

“A lot of people were hitting up my Twitter like, ‘Is this a Kid Cudi dis?’” Big Sean said. “Motherfucker that’s the dumbest shit somebody could ever say. That’s my fam. When I lost my Jesus piece Cudi gave me his Jesus piece. That’s my brother.”

He also spoke on the track that will be on his upcoming “Hall of Fame” album.

“As thought provoking as the album is, me and Common just had fun on this track. We didn’t think too much, we just went in, went hard — you know, pause,” he said. “When I put it out, I did it for the believers and the people that’s been rocking with me, fans of just real rap.”

At last Big Sean hinted that Kid Cudi will be on “Hall of Fame”

“That’s my brother for life, he’s on Hall of Fame — on an awesome song, rapping his ass off,” Sean teased. “It’s good times, it’s deeper than that.”

Big Sean Clears Up Rumors That “Switch Up” Is A Kid Cudi Diss

Kid Cudi links up with Kendrick Lamar for his new album titled ‘Solo Dolo Pt 2′. This will appear on ‘Indicud’ which will be in stores on April 23rd.

Kid Cudi’s upcoming album “Indicud” will have a April 23rd release, but before we get to that today we got our hands on the artwork and tracklist for the album. The tracklist lacks features but those should be updated in the time coming. You can expect Kendrick Lamar, RZA, Too Short, Hit-Boy, Common, King Chip, ASAP Rocky and Michael Bolton all on the LP.

This past Friday, Kid Cudi performed at the BUKU Festival in New Orleans. During his set, he brought out King Chip to assist him in the performance of his first single ‘Just What I Am’.

Kid Cudi is gearing up to his album by releasing singles and information on the LP, Despite that Cudi is not in full promo mode just yet. Cudi recently shared some details about his upcoming album with Bilboard and revealed some features expected.

Kid Cudi decides to release a new self produced track called ‘Immortal’ that will appear on his forthcoming album “Indicud” hitting stores on April 23rd. The LP will feature Kanye West, Kendrick Lamar, Common, Pusha T, J.Cole, ASAP Rocky, Too Short and much more.
